Drivel: One of the guys on my shuttle back to the hotel last night works for Boeing on their Sea Launch program. He is a program manager for their communications platform. We started talking about networking and wireless communication since I am working at AT&T Wireless and he deals a lot with satellite communications. The conversation then morphed into a general business discussion. We started talking about big companies and how much waste and inefficiency there is. He seemed perfectly happy to accept it and said, "That's big business." I asked him if he saw a need to change it and what he could do to make things more efficient. He gave me a blank stare and said, "Why?" I looked back at him and didn't have anything to say. I understand his response. If it doesn't directly affect him, why worry about it? He is insulating himself in the pack just wanting to be comfortable and have a "good" life. He is a gatherer. I am a hunter. Never before have I been in a situation where the differences were so apparent. 7:10:15 PM

Drivel: My weekend was far too short. I flew home Friday night and got back on a plane to go back to Seattle Sunday night. It is almost over. Just two more weeks. This week is a short week. I fly back to Boston Wednesday morning. 6:31:46 PM
