One? Only one .Mac account disappeared?
Shucks, Al, I've already lost more than two .Mac accounts to similar acts of personal whoopsadaisy. I consider it a sign for Jobs to rethink that whole 'free-for-life, nope, now ya gotta pay for it" thing, if that's still the level of 'service' that will be provided. Cripes, at least they should have an option for you to enter an alternate email addy, and launch the password to that one. Hey, it's not like they don't allow you to send clear text passwords to their servers, anyway... 9:54:22 PM [] blah blah blah'd on this
Note for self regarding how to avoid cross-platform filenaming problems...
I'm certain this one might rise up to chomp on buttocks at some point... ...' explains "-43" errors when trying to copy files from Mac OS 10.2 to Windows - they apparently are triggered by using non-Windows characters in the Mac filename: question mark, left and right brackets, equals sign, plus sign, left and right angle brackets, semicolon, colon, quotation mark, comma, pipe, and asterisk.' Use the Discussion Group, Luke.... Alwin should know to check the Radio DG for related posts when a problem in a new tool rears it's ugly head. I tried installing Jake's BBEditManila Tool, but got a ''File was created by an incompatible version of this program'' dialogue. Okay, I'll wait until a compatible version of Radio shows up... Someone (*ahem*) may have already hit the same problem, and stumbled upon a solution to the issue, like downloading the BBEditManila.root using IE. Option-click to make certain it comes down as a binary file, if needed. Then follow the rest of the directions as Jake wrote them. Hint, hint. I don't think it senility, either, I think it's just trying to keep track of all of the support resources for his six different blogging tools. ;-) (checking Al's homepage, before posting this.) Well, crapcakes. He got the 411 from Jake, it would seem. That's what I get for waiting until after work to read thru my day's news feeds and blog things. Darn! 6:54:55 PM [] blah blah blah'd on this [ blinked via ViewFromTheHeart ]
