A good explanation of why the alleged global warming phenomena might be a statistical fluke. And an even better explanation by the scientist who spotted the error. The creator of the famous graph showing skyrocketing temperatures at the end of the 20th century, Prof. Mann, padded his data sequence out to 2020 with an estimated (higher) temperature data points, thereby creating the "hockey stick" graph that shows a sharp upward trend in estimated global temperatures at the end of the 20th century.
