More Education does not make a better worker. Provocative author notes that productivity is not tied to education, but to output, which is tied to incentives. Education for many is a waste of time and money. I teach college and agree with that. We have students who clearly do not belong here and no amount of coaching or mentoring will enable them to be successful at college. But they could be successful in other endeavors besides college.
