Ever since we moved to San Jose, I have wanted a good thermometer. Trying to figure out the temperature inside and outside the house using the internet and our thermostat is trying. The house tends to stay cool, but there are times when I want to know whether I should open up the windows and turn the fans on.
I finally bought and inside/outside thermometer to help me. I picked up a wireless thermometer from Oregon Scientific and two remote sensors. So now I know I can see the temperature in my office (the hottest room in the house), outside, and in the greenhouse. It is probably not the best system that I could find, but it is a start.
