I have mentioned in the past that there are a number of birds and critters living in and around our neighborhood. Last night, while sitting in the hot tub, I was visited by a small raccoon.
I was watching Yolo (in the window watching me) when I heard some leave stir behind me. I looked over and about 3 feet away was this raccoon watching me as well. It scampered up the pepper tree to the garage roof, then spent the next ten minutes trying to figure out what kind of beast I was.
It finally ambled off to the other side of the garage, hopped to the fence and moved on into our neighbors yard.
