Rather apropos given the seminar I went to today and am going to finish tomorrow. I hate the litte undertone of 'Microsoft is going to win because it's Microsoft' that we get from the instructors. Most especially from the Microsoft guy that pitched MSDN to us.

I'm sure what they meant was that the framework is designed to gracefully handle the loss of connectivity that network programs inevitably have, but it sounds way too much like they designed the framework to be fragile, but not to fail so much.
