Firefly

We picked up the DVD box for the complete series of Firefly yesterday. We immediately sat down and watched the episode that I had accidentally deleted off of the Tivo before K had gotten a chance to watch it ("Out of Gas").

It was better than I'd remembered. That was a great show. Sensible sci-fi, Joss Whedon script, great ensemble... And Fox never let it have a chance.

I'm hoping that the rumors of a Firefly movie are true, and that the movie results in a renewal of the series. And I also hope that they can get the same people to reprise the roles. I would understand if they had to change it, and of course, I'd complain, but I'd watch it anyway, and probably grow to love the new version just as much.

What a great show. What a waste that it only went 14 shows.
