Get to know your neighbor. I was looking at the Rankings by Page Reads this afternoon and thought I would take a look at the Radio logs that were above and below mine. Very interesting stuff. I feel like I met some new people and plan to follow what they have to say. In fact, I added them to the newsfeeds that I subscribe to.
If you aren't listed on the rankings yet, visit one or two that are on the list. Maybe you'll make a new friend. Oh yeah, to visit someone's Radio blog from the Ranking by Page Reads page, just click the little "globe", or "earth" graphic to right of the name. 2:10:04 PM

Mmmmm, blogdex... it's like eavesdropping on millions of weblogs at once!
Today's blogdex links (he said, shamelessly pushing up the rankings of these links even more):

Sometimes, if you refresh your Radio home page (on your local machine), you get a duplicate post on your public Radio blog home page. Hmmm. 1:10:33 PM

Moveable Type: Features Currently in Development
- Blog cloning (What's that?)
- Multiple categories (Radio has it)
- Automatic backups (Radio needs it, Manila has it)
- FTP files to remote host (Radio has it)
- Multiple entry notifications (What's that?)
- Posting via email (Radio has it)
- Mail this entry (Manila has it)
- Req'd registration for comments (Manila has it)
One thing I have noticed about many of the Moveable Type blogs is that their users seem to have a pretty good eye for design. Same thing with GreyMatter. Why is that?
As for the features that Manila has but Radio doesn't (discussions, membership, mail this page), I wonder if those features could be implemented as a Web Service add-on to a Radio blog?
The Shifted Librarian uses the YACCS system so her readers can post comments on her blog. I guess this is one example of using an external Web Service to add functionality to a Radio blog.

Move Over, BT: He Invented Links. British Telecom's claim that it owns the patent to hyperlinking outrages Bob Bemer, an octogenarian who invented what would become a key component of Web navigation a long, long time ago. By Michelle Delio. [Wired News] 11:17:59 AM
