Beautiful satellite picture of Hurricane Isabel. [Scripting News]

Follow the link above - it really is a very beautiful picture of the hurricane.

Once of my sisters (Donna and her boyfriend Mark) are worried about this hurricane and aren't quite sure what to do about it yet.

Blogging from a rest stop
Maureen reminded me that I needed to leave to get to the New Hope Chapel Outreach meeting at 7:15pm today, but dinner called at Fresh City on the Mass Pike on my way west. Pretty good food, price was a little high... but it wasn't deep dried in fat... so a rating of 4 out of 5 :-)

Did you ever wonder where all the people are going? I'm just watching cars go zipping by on the Mass Pike. I can see about fifty cars every second or so (15 minutes, 60 seconds each minute, 300 cars per minute) - low ball the number at 4,500 cars. Who are all of these people and where are they going? Most of the cars have one person. This tells me that most of them are going home from work. What kind of work.

Here's one now - I'll call him George, I'll guess that George works in Cambridge at a bookstore. George likes CSI and boxing. George Jr. is in the 5th grade and Mom Martha is making fish for dinner. George Jr. doesn't really like fish, but Mom says that it makes us smarter. And we gotta have carrots to help our eyes. I'd probably like George, if I had a chance to meet him.

George is just one of us commuters. I'll have to figure out a few more of these folks. Especially why they all drive so crazy and become cow-like when anything different is near the road (quick everyone, look to the left side of the highway as someone is changing their flat tire - did everyone notice that it was a gray economy car that broke down? Did you see that cloud? Wow.)

On to the Outreach meeting... Have a nice trip home George.
