It Sucks, but That's a Good Thing. A very absorbent powder called Super Slurper is useful beyond diapers and oil filters. The new product will restore waterlogged books and will likely hit a library near you sometime next year. By Louise Knapp. [Wired News]

This stuff sounds really cool. I can see it in special flood mops or try a wall of this stuff (flood bricks?) to stop a flood of a town. Just make the wall of it a few feet thick and blamo, the town might not get flooded.

How about instant dry clothes? Just wash them like normal and press them between these two sheets of funny paper - and blamo, instant dry - good for the first five things.

Bouncing and Prayer
BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE - I'm in a bouncy mood today. I haven't been bouncy in a while.

I was bouncing around this morning, whistling and walking the dogs and having a great start to the new day. It's just a great day. Maureen eventually had her coffee and the lights came on in her eyes (without coffee, she's not really all that bouncy in the morning... I'd say that she's not an early morning person).

We listened to a few Christian contemporary songs - one of them was from Rich Mullins, called Other Side of the World. This song got stuck in my head all of last night, so I had to hear it again this morning. Here are the words:

And I can see the people who have learned to walk in faith
With mercy in their hearts
And glory on their faces
And I can see the people
And I pray it won't be long
Until Your kingdom comes

Ok - now listen to them by clicking this sentence.

Good bouncy song to get the day going.

This morning Maureen and I read from Romans chapter 8. Romans is wonderful book of the Bible. Two of the verses that always strikes home are verses 38 and 39:

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Simple translation - Nothing can seperate us from the love of God.

I was listening to my iBook on the way to work, playing more Christian music. A bunch of songs came up that are great. A John Tesh song - named A Deeper Faith, on his A Deeper Faith album - has our President, George W. Bush speaking:

On this national day of prayer and remembrance, we ask almighty God to watch over our nation, and grant us patience and resolve in all that is to come. We pray that He will comfort and console those who now walk in sorrow. We thank Him for each life we now must mourn, and the promise of a life to come.

As we have been assured, neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, can separate us from God's love. May He bless the souls of the departed. May He comfort our own. And may He always guide our country.

God bless America.

Ah - what's the point? I've been walking in Faith for months about this job. I've putzed and fussed around and get upset about the drive and, well. it generally hasn't been my most outstanding time. I'm sure I've been driving Maureen nuts lately (sorry about that). But, I have been faithful and just gave it all to God - hard not to take control back. I don't understand His plan, but I know that He has one and I can trust Him. He loves us more than we can possibly explain and there isn't anything that can seperate us from His love. Is there anything that I could be happier about?

I'm going back to bouncing around some more:

And I can see the people who have learned to walk in faith
With mercy in their hearts
And glory on their faces
And I can see the people
And I pray it won't be long
Until Your kingdom comes

Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce...
