« More on Saturday's gig »
We played at in an interesting setting on Saturday. We were part of an event put on by the Pakistan American Cultural Society to celebrate the Muslim holiday of Eid ul Bakr, and to learn something about Sufism. Here's the program. It was somewhat disorganized, but people were very nice and appreciative, and we sold a few CDs.
« Bibendum »
Books. Recently finished Pattern Recognition, loved it, easily my favorite non-sprawl Gibson book. [Simon Fell]
Agreed, I finished it Saturday night, and actually started re-reading it on Sunday morning, because I didn't want the experience to end. Gibson, along with Neal Stephenson and Tim Powers (my other two favorite living writer of fiction), just keeps getting better.
