This may well be true but I always am cautious about anyone's research when they do not share their reagents and claim that the reason others are unable to replicate the results is due to bad science (i.e. not properly following the right protocols.) Some double-blind experiements would be nice but egos are involved. It is so easy to fool oneself that any good scientist should be thrilled to have others repeat the work. 10:16:53 PM

Of course. since this bacterium needs TCA to live, once we have cleaned up the environment, it could become extinct. I wonder what it lived on before human pollution gave it a food source? 10:11:50 PM

New Theory on Dinosaurs: Multiple Meteorites Did Them In. New York Times Nov 4 2002 9:15PM ET [Moreover - moreover...]
Wouldn't it be more likely that 1 really large meteor broke up into several large pieces than several different objects hit at once? This makes great debates but uncertainties in dating procedures will probably make it impossible to determine how many were actually involved. 9:47:21 PM

I'm working on creating newsfeeds since the Eurekalert feeds I have been using no longer seem to be updated. Should be fun. 8:30:29 PM
