Stop Genocide in Sudan?
Jim Moore writes a moving piece here,
with a lot of moving and depressing links to more articles about what
is going on in Sudan now. A decade ago, we all let down the people of
Rwanda and 800,000 died. Can this be stopped now? It appears the UN is
being especially weak here, and that the Bush Administration is
actually not quite so bad (though "not quite so bad" is a relative
term). Passion of the Present
is another good place to start with helpful links you can use to find
your representative's contact information, phone numbers, places to
donate, etc. If you do nothing else, watch this video to see what the situation is like.
