Mets' Aggressive Bonds Strategy Backfires
The Mets attacked Barry Bonds as if they had a brand-new scouting report on him, and he basically deposited it in McCovey Cove. [The New York Times > Sports]And what a weekend he had against them. I had great seats at the park on Saturday and saw the man hit a single, two doubles and a triple! We were hoping he could cap it off with a walk-off home run in the 12th to win the thing, but it was not to be. Still, it was one of the most amazing offensive shows I've seen anyone put on.
