I've added a new article to my collection of links concerning crime in Britain.

Scientists turn skin cells into nerves. Norwegian researchers manage to "re-program" skin cells, turning conventional wisdom on its head in the process. [BBC News: sci/tech]

The article explains that the cells "look like" nerves, but it hasn't been determined yet whether they actually are nerves. If this works, it would certainly be much simpler than the approach that uses stem cells.

May Day tension in Paris. Supporters and opponents of France's far-right leader, Jean-Marie Le Pen, rally in the French capital amid a heavy police presence. [BBC News: world]

The article dances around the point a bit, but the significance here is that May Day is the main holiday for Communists. The article also mentions various "celebrations" by Communists around the world--funny how many of them involve riots and looting.

Soliciting murder (Saudi-Arabia included). As it says in today's article from IsraelInsider, up to now the Saudi-Arabia government has consistently denied reports that it... [The news, Uncensored.]

Unfortunately I doubt that it will make any difference that the Saudis got caught. The US will no doubt continue treating them like allies, just as we are with the Pakistanis.
