Iraq Gets Neo-Conned (Again). On today's morning televsion news was an announcement that the new puppet government of Iraq has adopted a new law that is very similar to the U.S. Patriot Act. Wonderful. The first thing their neocon rulers do is to teach them disrespect for civil liberties. I suppose anyone caught with an anti-Bush sign at a public event will be sent to the Abu Ghraib prison/rape and torture chamber. [LewRockwell.com Blog]

This is hardly surprising. At least some of the Crusaders have been quite open about their lack of respect for civil liberties.

My TiBook is back in service. I ordered a 60GB 7200 RPM drive from PowerBook Guy to replace the one that failed, and got one of my co-workers to install it for me.
