recommended reading. Juan Cole debunks right-wing claims about Iran. As usual, he knows far more about the Muslim world and its factions and politics than do most of the war hawks to whom all Muslim people seem to look alike and thus they assume that all Muslim people think alike. I think she's being too nice to the Crusaders, many of whom show no sign of regarding Muslims as people at all.

Blatantly obvious strategy. How many of you grew up playing 'RISK'? Yes, I see a bunch of hands up... no less than I would expect from a bunch of Samizdata readers.
