A Year in Blogspace
One year ago last Saturday I posted my first blog entry. With the release of Radio, little did we know what would be set in motion. 2003 became the 'Year of the Blog' in cyberspace. Thousands of people went to work with no proofreading tools, and began to create content with personal meaning, spelling mistakes, and broken links (just kidding, still need a good way to proof read all of this). I wish there was a way to tie this back to OS X services. Something to think about.
One year ago yesterday, I wrote about a visit to a friends house. As last year progressed; or regressed in ways, I keep coming back to the importance of friends and family. The support structure that surrounds you is crucial to making it through tough times. I owe them all a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.
On this day last year, I wrote about the real reasons the Dotcom bust occured. I have returned to that thought on many occasions, but all of my points still ring true. It failed because people with large sums of money willingly handed it over to people without a lick of sense, or a business plan that could work.
So goes the world...mj

Future imperfect...
Timeline 2003: The Year Of Fire, is now posted as a complete story. I am still not sure why I did it except as a mental exercise. Could things really go that bad, maybe. All it takes is a series of events to trigger a larger set of events. Will any of it happen? Only time knows the answer to that question.
If I wanted to be a true Seer, I needed to be less precise and a tad more profound. Wrapping it all up in prose would have helped. That way, I'd have a better chance of claiming I was right. Something like: "The Rooster crows in the Wolves Den, while the Sun rises in once held lands." Which of course could mean many things. Rooster could be a reference to France, while Sun could refere to Japan, Christianity, or whatever your heart desires.
I guess I'll have to sit down and re-write it all in prose. That way 400 years from now people can argue over my predicitions...mj
