Bush "demonstrating genuine leadership"
Go and do the following search on Google. Then look through the results. It looks like the Republicans are busy cooking up phony press for the President. I count 18 different newspapers or TV stations that have printed or read on-air the same letter, purportedly written by different people.
The one thing I want to focus on, is that this letter also paints a very nice lie. It presents you with the average return, not the mean. Because so much of this plan gives to the very wealthy, the actual mid-point (mean) is much lower. A family in my income situation will see maybe $300-$400 in savings, and we are the mean.
"Class warfare rhetoric" doesn't even begin to describe the massive shift in wealth that is going on in this country, and it's funny how many bitter white guys are just lapping it up, not really understanding what it is they're supporting...mj
