"24" SPOILER ALERT...SPOILER ALERT!!!!
DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE LAST TWO EPISODES.
So I'm talking to a friend today who has not seen the latest episode of '24'. I am just busting at the chops to talk about it and I have to stop short, because the last episode had two classic "OH MY GOD" moments. I saw them both coming, but I was still floored by the delivery.
Then I started thinking and I realized something interesting, well actually two things. I've watched every episode in the two seasons. The 'Mac=Good Guy, PC=Bad Guy' rule still seems to be true. As Reza and the agent looked up data I noticed that the father's computer was a Mac. That was a solid clue that the father was innocent, and of course Reza's computer was a Mac. I realized who it was, but was still shocked when it happened.
The fact that Palmer's wife is working with the other side (though in this show we may be completely wrong about what the other side is, and whether she plans to double cross the other side). Her turning over Roger Stanton was no shock. I'd really hoped that she had turned a new leaf, but her access to information was just too good, too easy, and too quick. Now to find out what the other sides agenda is.
The other thing I realized is that there's another rule. If you get betrayed, it will be a women doing it! Think about who the betrayers have been over the two seasons. All the major one's have been female, Jaime (the most pathetic one), Sherry, Marie, and of course the worst of the lot - Nina (though Marie runs a strong second). So what do these people have in common, they're women.
I wonder what it means?...mj
