Microsoft Passport Flaw Exposed Data
Microsoft Corp. said on Thursday a security breach in its Passport online identity service had exposed personal information, e-mail accounts and registered credit card information for an undisclosed number of users.
The world's largest software maker said it had already fixed the flaw, which affected potentially all of its active 200 million Passport accounts.

It won't happen, but until someone in the industry gets nuked with fines for security violations, there will be no real change in attitudes about security. M$ has a solution, but it involves something called Palladium (or Next Generation Secure Computing - MS just changed the name when the old one got too much bad press). The only problem with it is that it will give Microsoft even more control over your computer, and your life. Microsoft is using 'security' as the latest means of restricting competition, and free trade. They are also using it as the latest means by which they squeeze more money out of their customers.
