A New American Century
Is it a blueprint for a new brand of American imperialism?
I was listening to the radio last night and a local talk show hoast had on a man who was talking about something called 'The New American Century.' He went on about it's connections in the Bush administration. I started doing some digging and decided to pass on some links.
It makes for an interesting read. It also paints a very clear picture of where we are heading. We have a party in power that wants the US to aggressively dominate international politics, and we have a Justice Department that wants to use this as an excuse to expand police and government intrusions into our personal lives.
You may sit there and say "but this is all just talk, it will never really happen." Well take a close look at what has been going on over the past few years. If Europe had taken the time to read and ponder what Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf, so much bloodshed and suffering might have been avoided. Instead they ignored the insane rantings of the little German, and millions died. I am not saying that Bush is Hitler, I am saying that you need to understand the foundation of political movement to understand it's leaders and decisions. The best way to hide a horrible truth is to put it out in the open, and dress it with deceptive reason...mj
