Nisus Writer 6.5 Adds Outlining, Document Manager [TidBITS] There are other word processors than Microsoft's Word, and Nisus writer is an excellent one, even though it has its quirky side.     If you simply need a text editor, for writing unstyled text, then check out BBEdit. The developer gives away an excellent freeware version, and the professional version runs on Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.x. 5:51:38 PM    Add a comment.

Introduction. Although I have had a Manila website at http://karlpeter3.manilasites.com for a while now, I use that for publishing essays and archiving articles.    So as soon as the Radio 8 software came out I grabbed a copy.
