AB Radio is coming

Do you remember when CB Radio had all the hype back in the mid 70's (Hey what's your handle good buddy)?  A free to communicate (just the cost of your base station or mobile unit), community driven (channels were usually driven by the groups that hung around there ie. 19 - truckers, 9 - emergency, 11 - teenagers, 21- old geezers). Only a fad for the mainstream consumer (still used today by truckers-the group that really pioneered its use), it was one of the first social and consumer mobile communication technologies.

SoccerPhone on BeVocal

SoccerPhone on BeVocal. After TellMe dropped support for free VoiceXML application extensions on their public service, I didn't have an easy way to make SoccerPhone available to others. The only way to reach it on TellMe now is to call in with my developer ID and password. Fortunately, BeVocal allows you to make an application available without having to give out your password. So, to once again hear live Major League Soccer scores: Dial 1-877-33-VOCAL (877-338-6225) When prompted for a PIN, enter or say 7818 When prompted for a userid, enter or say 5301860 Unfortunately, that's a lot of digits to enter, but... [WombatNation]
