Latest version of WebOutliner packed full of a bunch of new features
Hard at work. Marc Barrot put up the latest version of WebOutliner today - packed full of a bunch of new features.
Copy and paste nodes - enables us to provide you with built-in content. We expect this to be a significant enhancement to the state of tools today. The tool also has built-in RSS channels and a bookmark editor. We'll eventually enable you to point at services like Technorati, Weblogs.com, Daypop, Blogdex or other dynamically generated services - for RSS sources.
File management - the product now acts like any desktop app - delete, rename files. Create folders.
Mail and Post - SMTP mail out or post to MetaWeblogAPI any outline or node of an outline.

As my old boss would say "Progress is progressing". Everytime I play with WebOutliner I see big improvements in it's functionality. I'm glad the WebOutliner team didn't wait until everything was baked in to show all of us. I prefer and enjoy taking the ride watching where this app is going and playing with the new features as they get turned on. Thanks to Marc and the WebOutliner team for this new way of developing a new app over the Web.
I myself am waiting for the WebOutliner team to add Audio (as a media linked type?). Pictures and video are there and can be linked to, but no audio. Maybe they forgot. I guess I'll just watch, wait and be patient. .... Just a reminder: Don't forget audio!!
Cool app and cool way to develop it!! This team really rocks. H.G.
