College WiFi Van. Tech Dirt flags a story on a satellite-powered WiFi van. Students at the North Carolina, Community College, routinely drove up to 100 miles round trip to get to night classes. Blogger.com is a great

Blogger.com is a great and simple way to publish your own weblog. I assumed that if you used Blogger, you had to publish to their web site (e.g. Blog*Spot), but I was wrong. You can access Blogger weblog publishing tools from any Internet browser, and Blogger can be configured to publish HTML formatted files directly to any web server of your choice. The files are transferred using FTP. Very impressive! I've set up three weblogs in the past few days and so far, Blogger is working great. I'm also using a simple application that runs on my desktop called BlogApp. Rather than using the Blogger online tools, I can type, publish and edit online postings directly from BlogApp. Very slick!

British carrier O2 will be the first to offer the service, with other carriers in the US, Europe, and South America expected to get onboard next year. Read... [Gizmodo]
