From the Ohhh-Yeah Dept:
I just figured out why things have been a little strange around here...

  • It's the full moon
  • It's Friday the 13th

Now if that isn't an excuse for all this wierdness, then I don't know what is...

From the Super-Todo-List Dept:
Salad with Steve | Tasks (the web application)

Looks kinda useful... wonder how it would work for team projects.. coupled maybe with that Python Project management solution I meanted in the previous entry...

From the Project-Management-Simply Dept:
Project Management in Python [Ned Batchelder]

Hmmm... useful, as MS Project hasn't been on the Mac in about 8 years - but I remember seeing ads for it in MacUser at one point.

From the Retain-Release-Repeat Dept
MacDevCenter | Knowing when to let go: Better Living Through Memory Management

Cocoa memory management.

"How do it work?"

"I don't know, my Leige"

"consult the book of armaments!"

Something like that.

From The What-Did-I-Buy Dept
MacOSXHints | Keeping track of purchased ITMS music.

I'm confused as to how this is different from the the "Purchased Music" playlist that is a standard playlist... but I guess if you delete that playlist...

From the AppleScript Dept:

From the Background-Process Dept:
I just had the wierdest feeling.

I was in the laundrymat, taking my clothes out of the drier, when suddenly I finally understood a concept I've been fighting with for 3 or 5 years now.

It took me a long time to grok this concept for some reason, but it hit me so hard there I hit myself on the head and said, "Ohh! that's the answer!"

Probably looked like a moron to the other person in the laundrymat, but that's no matter - I'm sure I proved that I'm a moron way before that incident. (Maybe the Codewarrior shirt had something to do with it? Dunno...)

But now:

  • My brain feels really good (perhaps I was running a background task for these years...)
  • I think I grok grokking

And, so, yeah...
