BTW: people using Photoshop, Pagemaker/InDesign, or even Office won't be switching to Linux anytime soon.

Why?

• It doesn't say Microsoft or Adobe on it
• The Alternatives suck (I've used The GIMP before.. and it sucks. Abiword was OK, and I wrote a few papers with it, but I don't think I would give it to my Parents (or even my sister, who's pretty savvy) to use.

There may be a trend, with the cheapos, of going to linux, but there's another trend, going towards OS X, with the unix elite. I wish I could find that article from Tim O'Reilly (I believe).. but google fails me.
