Well, it seems Charles Miller is light-years ahead of what I wanted to work on. Crap. I'm realizing that I don't even have the time to work on something like this, which really sucks because I'm really interested in it. At least he's releasing it under the Apache software license. Exactly what I would have done. Perhaps in a couple years I'll have something to use for a senior project for my CS degree.

OJR: Preparing for the Coming Era of Participatory News

A new group of consumers - the Millennials - emerges. They have no loyalty to news organizations. They don't read newspapers. Their habits and behaviors have no context in traditional news products. By sheer numbers, they have the power to transform consumer markets.

Now start calling us customers instead of consumers and you'll be set.
