Hooking up wires just because I can
I'm doing weird stuff, that's for sure. I've got a web service which is being rendered in the left panel of my desktop website (using xml.rpc). The service script then calls a workspace script which sends a SOAP request to an EJB running in JBoss (a status call which returns some text describing when the bean was loaded and how many times it has been called since being deployed).
Some children should not be allowed to play with glue.

OK, I turned off the active version before I drive everyone crazy.

Every time I update the page, the count goes up because the EJB gets called again, oops.

That's neat! I can use the same mechanism Dave uses to call DIY Web Services to call the test EJB I created the other day: <%workspace.soapStuff.testService()%>
The TestStatusBean was loaded on Monday, February 04, 2002 at 02:48 PST and has been called 42 times.
