pocket knives During my last trip to Boston, I had to relinquish my personal pocket knife, which I had inadvertently left in my troiletries bag, which was in my carry on bag. This week, I finally got around to replacing it. And it occurred to me out personal I take the pocket knife buying experience. Are you all like that too? What I lost was a Victorinox grooming pocket knife, and what I needed were scissors and a cork screw. I still have a Wenger Practical Super Tinker: But, I don't like it for one particular reason: serrated scissors. I use my pocket knife to trim my nails, and the serrated edge leaves my nails literally jagged. (Also, I don't like the fact that I bought it thinking it was a Victorinox!) I'd been considering the new Leatherman brand, like the Juice CS4: But when I took a good look at it, I realized that I hardly ever need a pair of pliers. While I think they are great knives, I just didn't need the extra weight. So, I went back to the Victorinox display, and chose an old favorite, the Explorer: Finally, I can cut my nails! P.S. Yeah, I don't know when I'm gonna use that magnifying glass, but it's still cool to have! :-) P.P.S. Did you know that hook is used as a parcel carrier? 1:53:44 PM ![]()       |
