This Survey USA poll confirms Zogby's contention that Colorado is a swing state this November. As I reported yesterday John Kerry and George Bush are tied at 47% in Colorado.
Electoral-vote.com: "We have six and half new polls to report today. The most important one is in Colorado, where Kerry and Bush are now tied at 47% each according to the latest Survey USA poll. Yesterday's lead story was about the Colorado referendum (ed. Amendment 36), how the Democrats want to split the state's votes in the electoral college so Bush won't get all of them. It will be interesting to see what happens now that they are tied. Suppose Kerry takes the lead there. Will the Democrats suddenly oppose te referendum to avoid giving Bush any electoral votes? Will the Republicans suddenly support it? It could get pretty complicated if the lead switches back and forth. Stay tuned for all the excitement (if constitutional amendments in Colorado turn you on, at least)."
Email from the votemeister informs me that he's purchased and deployed a new server for the election and all the traffic that he's getting. What a guy. He needed to upgrade his hardware since Dave Winer, Matthew Gross, and today, Josh Marshall, are all linking to him.
Update: Senator John Kerry leads President Bush, 52% to 42%, in Ohio, according to the Daily Kos. Here's a link to a story about a recent Gallup poll from CNN.

Update: Gallup: "Among all registered voters nationwide, the most recent three polls show Kerry with an average one-point lead over Bush -- 48% to 47%. Kerry's average lead among the three polls before that (in June and early July) was six points, 50% to 44%." Thanks to Blogs for Bush for the link.
