He writes, "You wonder how much more indecision the American public will take. The Senate's all-night Iraq War discussion that lasted from Tuesday into Wednesday was, as Colorado Sen. Ken Salazar pointed out, a 'robust debate.'"

Political Wire: "In a new Harris Interactive poll, Fred Thompson is now in a statistical dead heat with Rudy Giuliani in the Republican presidential race. Thompson gets 29% support, followed by Giuliani at 28%, Sen. John McCain at 17% and Mitt Romney at 9%. Meanwhile, in the Democratic race, Sen. Hillary Clinton expanded her lead to 35%, followed by Sen. Barack Obama at 28%, John Edwards at 14% and Al Gore at 13%."
