XM and Sirius Create Static for Satellite Radio:
"XM and Sirius both saw their stocks skyrocket some 200 percent in the last three months of last year, based on little more than faith and hope and dreams. Though both stocks have pulled back somewhat, XM is still trading at more than three times its September low."
I was driving back to San Diego from Lake Tahoe on the day of the NCAA Mens Basketball Final (big mistake) and spent most of the trip hunting the AM dial for the next place to catch the game. Satellite would have been good for that. Now if I could program my own channel with music, news, games, etc. that could then be streamed to me via the satellite, I buy that service. Otherwise, for driving around town, I can't really see paying for this service. I do need to do a review of them, especially for their Jazz offerings. You can listen over Inet to Sirius for free, but you can only get samples of XM. And they don't have blogs.
