So here's the better of two available map/directions from La Mesa, CA to Chandler, AZ (a very decent one day hall...got friends that do it twice in a weekend). The maplets (or map-lites) are use-less. But some freeway markings and city names on the bigger map and ditch the two other ones. Directions are directions. Do 1 page of maps and one page of directions. Did I say bigger maps?

The turn-by-turn map view had even more useless maps. And no way to go from a city to a national park or other touristy type place. The Continue Route feature (to Grand Canyon South) was clever. All together usable but didn't do a lot for me. Need more features. Keep looking. A ways to go. How far is it? Too soon to know. Bookmarks blogged here. Ah...
