Soundbug turns flat surface into speakers

"Once attached to a flat surface, Soundbug will transmit electronic signals into mechanical energy, causing the flat surface to vibrate and broadcast the sound."

Gotta find a picture of one of these things.

And while I'm in the template-editting mode, I have to add the comment feature to The New Jazz Thing page.

New Title/Link feature: How title and links are rendered

Oops. When you look at the rendered page (the one you're looking at), there are no Titles/Links for each item on the page. Even though I'm experimenting with the feature. That's because I, duh, didn't read the rest of the instructions saying I needed to put the Item Title in my template. I know...who cares...well, these lost posts look pretty week without the Title and Link. Actually, they are quite useless. Now I have to wait until later to fix it.

Williams leads way as Illinois routs San Diego St.

"The 13th-seeded Aztecs (21-12) got 27 points from Al Faux and 18 from Tony Bland but were beaten 41-26 on the boards. They also made just 39 percent of their shots."

Can win in The Dance with stats like dat.

UML Activity Diagrams as a Workflow Specification Language

How's this for a change of pace.

I'm actually working on finding a UML vocabulary for a workflow application on working on right now. I don't even have the basic UML down to understand this article. But, it does point out some directions that I need to go in. Activity diagrams for starters.

San Diego State University Loses to Illinois, 64-93

It didn't get any better in the second half. Hard to win, IMHO, when you only have 4 people scoring. And this scoreboard doesn't have it, but the Aztecs were totally out-rebounded, and that was pretty key.

BUT...what a great year for the Aztecs! Figured out what they needed to do (defense) and did what it took to win the Mountain West Conference. Can't wait to see what next year brings.

SDSU down by 15 to Illinois at Halftime.

Damn. Going to be hard to come back from that. And they've got the perfect opportunity to advance further with Creighton double-OT defeat of Florida earlier. Pray for a miracle second half.

Monitoring the NCAA Mens Hoops Tournament from work this morning with the CBSSportsline.com Scoreboard which keeps updating all the scores with links to more detailed, self-updating pages for each game, like the SDSU - Illinois game.

Opie Bellas - A Jazz Singer From The Old School

Got listener Brian hooked up with old-jazz-school-singer Opie so he could buy a disc. My good deed for the day. I played Opie last night on the show.

The Digital Interview - Who should benefit?

The Interview is a collaboration of myself and the artist(s). I give them the interview, digitally, to use in promotional material...web site, etc. I have rights to resell the interviews. OK. I'll stop thinking about this for the moment.

Digital Interview Packaging

Could I package my interviews on CD's and sell them? Maybe on MP3.com? I wonder if people would pay to hear the entire interview? Remember, I'm just dumping here. I have no idea of the ramifications of what I say.

Let's say I post excerpts on the web and make the whole interview, uncut, available to buy. Digital interviews. Would I have to get artists permission? I wonder what an artist would think about that. I guess I'm thinking that it would be free press to them. Maybe I sell the interview to music websites, for them to do with what they'd like. Or to the artists themselves for them to do something with...post on their site...yep. I'll bet folks would pay for something like that. Digital Interview Packaging.

To bed. He said.

Who do I find out if this is a business deal or not?
