Hello From SF! Cabbing, Aleing, Dining, and Living Large Hello from San Francisco. The CompUSA on Market. On an iMac. What a wonderful, connected, cosmopolitan world! Got in yesterday afternoon and spent a ragin' afternoon session at Toronado in Lower (not South, Paul) Haight for pints of Drakes IPA (table favorite), Anderson Valley Winter Something, Drakes Winter, and others. Great beer fueling great stories and catching up with great friends. The party stumbled by wild cab ride to Paragon for mac and cheese appetizer (it's not just for dinner anymore), Steak with funky and tasty root vegetable hash, Pot Roast with mashed and veges, and ice cream sandwiches with dip. And the couple across the hotel from us gave us a show which didn't require us to put our credit card into the TV. This morning started with a dip in the pool and a cab to Ella's (not Etta's, Paul) for fried corn meal with cheddar and green onions, poached, and almost-too-big-bread, oatmeal, killer sausage patties. It's not just me eating, don't get the wrong idea. We hoofed in back down Geary from Presideo to almost Union Square. The girls and boys have split to different shopping priorities and this is why I'm finding myself with time to write. Here to look at (T)iBooks vs. Multi-media Laptops and IPaqs vs. Toshiba PDAs. And log it all here for Jeff F., Miff, or any others who may stumble here and want to know what New! Much Love til later...VO
P.S. That last post that should have had a download attached didn't work as planned. Blame MP3.com. More later. |
