Connecting Again From San Francisco: E&O Trading, Blowfish, Jackie Mason, Great Bed Picking up where we left off yesterday afternoon around 2:00 pm ish. Checked out some laptops, macs, PDAs a little and then felt relieved to get that out of our system. And it made us thirsty. Back onto Market and then up Sutter looking for and finding E&O Trading and some home brewed beer, which was not remarkable but good and a restaurant that didn't look anything like it does from the front. Met up with the gals and headed down a wild and really totally out of the way trip to Blowfish, arriving around 4:00. We were glad to find it...and it was closed (opens 5:30)...not a new event for this touring crew. Schlepped the neighborhood looking for the soon we were to find also closed Monkey Club with cool spacey mural, but no rest or drinks. Back past Blowfish to a very open and connected Starbucks...many folks with laptops on big tables. Dinner ended up spectacular, so it was worth it. After dinner we, at least I and my date, dozed through Jackie Mason at the Curran and then to bed. No show from accross the courtyard tonight.
Up around 7:00 this morning for a swim, a coffee, and a session here with you at the Internet Cafe on Geary (spotted yesterday on our morning walk...pays to walk). $2 / 15 minutes and I'm probably over my limit now. Hopefully Fort Mason arts today and Goldie's looking for something trendy and happening for dinner tonight. Lots of fun. Must disconnect...VO |
