Fly on a Trash Can
The long weekend and my new infrared filter provided some excellent photo-ops in three city parks:

The infrared filter features an 89B Wratten filter, a brittle sheet of brown plasticine gelatin, three inches square. I cut a circle 0.95" out of this using an Xacto™ knife and circle template, then trimming with scissors to fit exactly into a 29mm threaded filter ring. Using this setup, I can attach auxiliary lenses to the 950, like the fisheye and wide angle. The alienized colors of the infrared world add to the sense of other worldliness the wide angles give to photographs, but the normal lens works as well to create the sense that this is not our planet...
