Wow! All of a sudden my audience has grown tenfold. While I was at work on Monday, Dave Winer linked to my site from 'above the fold' on his scripting.com, weblog. Along with the link that brought thousands of new visitors here, there were some very complimentary words. Thanks Dave!
But scripting.com wasn't the only weblog pointing to me yesterday: kindred photographer Phil Ackley posted a heartfelt congratulation, Chris Hollander says this is a "beautiful" blog, Joe Jennet likes my blog and has for weeks. Gary Santoro, whose blog I've never encountered before, linked to my other blog, p e r i o d i c which is exclusively about elemental chemistry.
Thank you all very much for these links (five in one day!) that gave this blog its largest audience ever. I'll also mention that all of the websites listed in The 'Hood section at the top of the blogroll (at right) link to me from their own blogrolls. I am truly connected to this community through my own global neighborhood. Cool.
