The spectrum of Betelgeuse:

Three exposures show deep bands in the spectrum of this orange star on Orion's eastern arm. The strong doublet in the blue-green is bands from titanium oxide. Extending into the blue end are iron, carbon monohydride, calcium and strontium bands.

A lot of people come here searching for "cfm shoes", those tools of oppression. 'S ok, I like 'em too, but nevermind about that.

I followed the #1 Google hit for the subject cause I noticed it was a blog. That one lead to another blog that pointed to an American Reporter article that said that Pres. Bush's brother was partnered with a Kwaiti company that had the job of security at the World Trade Center until it's destruction.

Well, that figures - I still want to know if there were any agents representing Afghani or Saudi interests at Cheney's energy meetings that have been blocked from inspection. This is why I'm voting for wKen!

Astrophotographer Denny Cannon has designed and built a bracket to attach a Nikon 950 (or any or the twist body Nikons) to a small telescope eyepiece bracket. With plans. I know what I'm gonna do!
