Chianti:
The above chart represents the spectrum of 1998 Gaetaro D'Aquino Chianti Reserva. The five year old wine was noticibly warmer in hue than was the previously spec'ed Shiraz. The violet line in the spectrogram is the spectrum of that Shiraz, so you can see the differences. Notice that the slope is somewhat flattened and the foot extends further into the yellow-orange region of the spectrum (around 600 in the lower middle of the chart). This shape accounts for the color difference in the wine, as can be seen in the photograph below. The wine on the right is The Shiraz, and the Chianti is on the left:
