I am shocked, shocked, to report that Iraq has medium range missles loaded with ready-to-go chemical weapons, found and examined by the U.S. Marines. Thanks to The Command Post via Little Green Footballs via Reuters via NPR.
Although, as the commentary on Comment Post points out, we have had false alarms before. Still this is by far the most concrete report to date. It is worth noting that if true it may not be officially verified for a while due to fears that once it is public that Saddam has such weapons, there is nothing to stop him from using them on field. |
