Sjoerd Visscher: Sounds like REST violates a lot of rules of both functional and object oriented programming. Functional? Probably. OO? Definately.
REST is much more akin to relational databases than distributed objects.

Google seems to have reindexed recently. Inexplicably, Simon Fell is no longer related (I disagree). Meanwhile, my google ranks generally are improving.
