More problems with stupid file name extensions. Just downloaded Macromedia MX Studio instalation was going fine until I reach the Flash MX downloader. Even though it had the right file type, Mac OS X was using the file name extension (.bin) and attempted to open with Stuffit Expander... It was an Classic application and Get Info knew it for Chris sake! I had to change the name (deleted the .bin) for it to work. The rest was working because mindlessly and thankfully Explorer was truncating the name because it was too long for it. Sometimes stupidity helps... As Will Rogers said: "If stupidity got us into this mess why can't it take us out?"

I guess at my core i'm a die-hard capitalist — I have an insanely optimistic faith in the ability of the marketplace to sort itself out (please don't send emails about MSFT monopolistic practices)...
Hmm, isn't that like saying that you believe you can fly and please don't send emails about gravity? [JOHO the Blog]
No, he isn't saying capitalism will fly now, but that it eventually will... There is a difference...
