Schu facing possible ban. Michael Schumacher could be punished for ignoring warning flags during the Brazilian GP. [BBC News | Front Page | UK Edition]
More nonsense. The FIA and the race organizers are trying to protect themselves from the obvious accusation: Why did Alonso crash? Now, they are talking about penalizing Alonso and Schumacher. After all, they both crashed under double yellow flags... Yes, they obviously wanted to crash risking their life, you only have to see how much they gained by it. This is the real reason why Raikkonnen was declared winner of the Brazilian GP, despite all evidence to the contrary they wanted to say the race was stopped before Alonso's crash. It wasn't... If anyone should be penalized is race officials for being so incompetent and refusing to admit to their mistakes. Instead we'll get this. In politics it is called cover-up.

Profits at Apple Computer Are Down 65% in Quarter. Apple Computer Inc. reported lower profits on Wednesday, but the results still exceeded analysts' expectations by 2 cents a share. By Laurie J. Flynn. [New York Times: Technology]
This is why analyst are so lost, in general, and with Apple, in particular. In the headline the comparison with last year is done just in number. No mention of the diferences between the two years (or of the criticism of last year). The analysts expectations are mentioned on passant, when normally it is the center of an earning report. Of course, negative news about Apple sell better than positive news about anything... Sell your Apple stock, the New York Times will not pay for your loses...
