Happiness is WinAmp. Now that I'm switching to the Archos ( it
arrives on Monday), I can start phasing out iTunes. I've never figured
out how it works, if you can believe that. So when I came across an
"ogg" file and found that WinAmp could play it, I grabbed a copy. I
forgot how nice it is! Glad to be back. [ Scripting News]
This never ceases to amaze me. Not being able to use a software that
everybody thinks is very intuitive. But I have figure it out. A lot of
Window users are unable to understand intuitive software, because they
do not know how to use an intuitive OS. The fact that this people make
software for Windows compounds the problem. They can't use fairly
intuitive programs, will their programs be intuitive? Well, in this
case you just have to look at Radio. It is a powerful piece of software
no doubt and I use it every day. But intuitive? It is not... As an
example, a lot of Window users do not realize that Radio is an
application. They think it is a website. So they do not see any
advantage of Radio vs. Blogger... Until you explain to them they can
use Radio without an internet connection.
