This is bad news for Motorola, not so bad news for Apple. The inability
of US mobile carriers to innovate without extracting blood from its
users will prevent the biggest threat to iTunes online music dominance.
Watch for the european carriers to hold the torch and improve on this.

it to a small carrier in the US. Wait for the clients to push other carriers

While this is true, it is irrelevant for most people. The main problem
is that people discard or sell old computers without so much as erasing
the hard drive. This is especially true about companies. So no
technical knowledge is needed to get the sensitive info. Of course,
most hard drives get deleted right away by the new owner so this is
