After returning one of the cars the previous day, my brother, my sister and the corresponding siblings-in-law, accompany my wife and I to La Ribera del Duero, one of Spain more interesting Wine Countries. We drove to Peñafiel, a small town home of the Museum of Wine. We decline the visit to the museum and instead took the tour of the castle, which is very interesting, we learn a lot about the life in the middle ages. Afterwards we went to Aranda de Duero to have lunch and finally drove back to Peñafiel for a private tour of Bodegas Pesquera. Here are the corresponding graphic material.

The rest of the group, including my kids, stayed in Madrid and visited the great Zoo they have there. They have unique things that they saw like the White Tiger and unique things they couldn't see like the Pandas. What caught their attention the most was the penguins. The penguins have an excellent strategy to reduce predator related losses and still eat lots of fish. They basically gang against one of their own and force it to get in the water, if it gets eaten by a seal, the rest wait a while, if it comes out with a fish (or at least alive), the rest of the penguin jump in the water. My kids named this strategy The Sacrifice, they saw it in the Zoo (even if there are no predators there), but the selected penguin managed to escape as the others got distracted by a sound nearby.
